Cora is a teenager and has a lot of problems (mostly because of the relationship with her parents). One day she meets Katz, a hypnotizer who makes shows in the whole country, and his assistant Pedro. Then she manages to convince Katz to bring her with him in order to teach her his job. Thus Cora leaves her home without saying any word to her parents and begins a long trip through France with a very tumultuous relationship with Katz and Pedro.

Pake has left a good paying job working in the oil fields of Texas in order to give the music business a try. Eventually he finds himself alone and with no money in a hotel room in Los Angeles. He sets up a meeting with his old girlfriend Kay. When he meets her, she is with her fiancee. He is a Greek immigrant who desperately needs to marry Kay in order to become a permanent resident in this country. However his plans are in trouble because of Pake trying to convince Kay to go back to Texas with him and get married.

"Polonia" was released on TV3 on February 16, 2006. In 2007, he won the Ondas Award for the best local television show. In 2011 he won the ATV Make-up Award. In 2012 he won the Zapping award for the best entertainment program. At the moment its eighth season is emitting. The seventh season closed with an average of 595,000 spectators and 18% share of screen. Seven years later, the program has almost 8,400 minutes of gags, more than 350 imitated characters and more than 3,850 sketches written, recorded and emitted. The film was shot in Tudora, Botoșani County, and depicts the life of peasants under the harsh rule of the boyars. It recounts the events that took place in the village of Halunga in 1907, when peasants resorted to violent actions to obtain the property deeds they had acquired. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ion Creangă, adapted for the screen by Constantin Rădulescu-Hodariu.
